Beautiful days - Week 6

This was a beautiful week  of sunny weather.  The days were warm and the sun was shining for most of the time.  It certainly lifts your spirit when you feel the heat upon your skin.

We started the week with another trip to Huntington Beach State Park.  Can you tell it's a favourite of ours?  We went in the morning and spent a few hours enjoying the birds.  Teresa and Lawrence were also there.  Later when we compared pictures we were surprised at how we both saw different things during our visit.

On Tuesday we enjoyed a round of golf at The Pearl.  It was a great day.  The golf was fun and so was our visit afterwards to see the Eagles.  We  met up with Rick and had a chance to see some activity.

On Wednesday we decided to go back to Huntington.  We arrived just after 9:00 and didn't leave until just after 2:30.  It was an action packed day. We didn't see the owl this visit but the Eagle was out for most of the time we were there.  He had a few unsuccessful attempts at catching a duck but it's still exciting to watch.  We also spotted the Juvenile Eagle in the sky.  We were told by Rick that they tend to hang around for about 2 years before flying off and finding a mate.

Friday morning came with a nice sunrise.  It didn't last too long however as cloud cover moved in from the south.  It brought along a little bit of fog as well creating a haze over the water.  I believe that was caused by the warmer air coming as it was going to be another beautiful day.  We have golf planned for today and then another visit to Sunset Beach.  Soon we hope to see some little heads popping above the nest.

When we woke up on Saturday we were surprised at how foggy it was.  The fog was suppose to break at around 11:00 changing our plans for an early visit to the park.  We relaxed and enjoyed a nice breakfast before leaving.  We arrived around 11:00ish and most of the fog had dissipated.  We didn't see the owl but were treated to some nice Osprey activity.  Later in the day Teresa and Lawrence arrived to enjoy the birds as well.

It was nice to welcome John and Grace back to Myrtle Beach today (Sunday).  We can start making our plans for golf now that we are all together.  The day was beautiful but very windy.  We enjoyed some dolphins today and also were blessed with a nice sunset.  It was another fast week.

I can't think of a better way to end the week than with a beautiful sunset.

Hi all in Myrtle Beach, amazing pictures as usual. Glad you are being blessed with some warmer weather now. Thankful John and Grace made it safely as well and now you can enjoy your big rounds of golf. Keep blogging and we’ll keep watching. We’re still getting winter here in Canada. Take care love all.
