Oh deer!
In between church services, Teresa and I went for a walk along the path by the Humber River. We got lucky and spotted two deer grazing in the woods. Thankfully Teresa had her zoom lens on her camera and we were able to get a few pictures. I was not as prepared as I thought with the amount of snow falling that I would only take my smaller lens as I was worried the flakes would interfere with the pictures. I'm glad Teresa had her lens on as we were too far away to get a good picture without it. This first picture was cropped in so you could see how beautiful the deer was.

A hunting we will go
Today was a beautiful winter day. I called up Teresa and asked if she wanted to go see if we could find some owls along the path. She was game so we planned to meet at 3:45 and see what we could find. Unfortunately the owls eluded us. We still enjoyed a nice walk along the path.

February snow storm
It's been quite the winter this year. Snow in the forecast once again and we certainly got a lot of it. The snow started early Saturday morning and continued all day. It was really pretty to look at but made the driving a challenge. It's not really that chilly but the dampness makes it feel colder than it actually is. I went out for a walk today after our visit with Ralph's Dad. I want to keep practicing using my camera to help prepare me for our trip this spring. I registered for a 5 day course with Henry's Camera's which I'm really excited about. It starts at the end of March and will go until early May. Perfect timing for our trip. Here are a few of the pictures that I took.
