On Saturday morning it was drizzling when we woke up. Not bad enough to stop us from golfing and we enjoyed a nice round together. We enjoyed a light lunch at the golf course before packing up and heading into the U.S. and drove to the Fashion Outlet Mall in Buffalo. We did a little bit of shopping here before driving to our restaurant for dinner. We ate at Gordon Biersch and then took a walk around the mall that was adjacent to the restaurant (Walden Galleria). It was a nice way to spend a rainy day.
On Sunday, we enjoyed a leisurely day in Niagara Falls before heading back to Niagara on the Lake. It has been quite a while since we have been here so it was nice to walk from our hotel (The Hampton) to the falls. It was a good walk (about 30 minutes away) and it was really nice to photograph the falls. Today was nice out and we didn't have to worry about rain. While walking along we bumped into Jean and Ed Abano who were also visiting with friends. I am always amazed at how small our world is.
As we started to think about heading for home, we decided to stop for lunch at the Silversmith Brewery in Virgil. What an awesome place to visit. It was an old church that has been converted. It was really beautiful inside.
