Brookgreen Gardens
Caledonia Golf and Fish Club
We were up early to get ready to golf at Caledonia. It was a beautiful morning, around 71F. We were excited and looking forward to golfing here. Ralph has wanted to try this course for a while. We were paired up with Frank - from Bulington and Matt from New York. My first hole, I played like I had never golfed before (how embarrassing). I settled down and played a decent round. It's a tough course with lots of sand and water and some very small greens. The course is very scenic. After our game, Laura, Jay and the girls joined us for lunch.

First time with Chopsticks
Today we planned to go out for dinner all together. We decided to go to PF Changs in the Market Common area. This was a first for Jordan and Hailey - they had so much fun trying to eat with chopsticks. Dinner was very nice and we had a lovely evening all together.
Afternoon at the pool
After a fun round at Pawley's Plantation, we spent the afternoon at the pool with Jordan and Hailey. Laura and Jay went for a bycicle ride in Conway. The girls played all afternoon on the slide and in the pool. They don't give up. It was fun.
Pawley's Plantation
Today was hazy and a little cooler. Nice for golfing. We enjoyed our round. It started out very fast with the first 9 played in just over 1.5 hours. The last 9 was very slow with 3 groups ahead of us. Oh well, it was nice to enjoy the nature and our beautiful surroundings.
This afternoon we are looking after the girls as Laura and Jay have gone bike riding.

We beat the Gambler
Yes! It didn't beat us this year. All the practice that we have had this sumer golfing paid off! I was able to drive my ball well onto the island of the Gambler. Ralph too was successful. We had a great game today. It was HOT and HUMID. We golfed with two other men - Gary - who works at Myrtle Beach National and Domenic who was down from Newmarket. The course was in excellent condition. They have installed It was a fun round. Ralph and I both played well and we were happy with our scores. After we got back to the condo we spent the afternoon with Laura and Jay and the girls at the pool. It was very warm - around 91F.
Family Photo's
We were up at dawn. It's going to be a beautiful day for family pictures. Randall was an amazing photographer. He is a freelance journalist who was working for 777 Portraits. I think we got quite lucky. He took 754 shots in about an hour. It is going to be so difficult to choose our favourate.
