We started the week with a round of golf at the Hackler Course. This is a University course. It was interesting to play but I wouldn't count it as one of my favourites.
On Tuesday Ralph and I went to Huntington Beach and Myrtle Beach State Park. It was a beautiful day finally and we could enjoy the birds. Huntington was pretty quiet. We did notice that alot of the regular birds weren't around, but we were able to see some new ones in their place. The Pier was beautiful to stand on and we saw a new "lifer" while we were there. We saw a black Skoter. What an interesting looking Duck!

On Wednesday we had a morning round of golf booked at Oyster Bay. While golfing there Lawrence counted 18 Alligators on the course. You have to be careful where you place your ball. Right now they are pretty docile (thankfully).
We also had a very pretty sunrise in the morning. I took two shots with about 15 minutes in between and I can't get over the difference in colour. These were both taken on my cell phone.
After golf we stopped by the Eagles to see if there was any action. It's always fun to see them fly around.
On Thursday the 6 of us drove to Awendaw which is just outside of Charleston. We had booked tickets to go to the Center for Birds of Prey. What a great day we all had. We went to two shows and viewed a wide variety of different Raptors. It was something I would do again for sure.
Friday we golfed again and this time we went to Sea Trail - The Maples Course. We enjoyed another fun round all together. With the temperatures slowly rising the Alligators are starting to come out. We saw this one by the 18th hole.
The weekend was a time of rest for us with the weather being up and down with rain. Another good time to catch up on reading and relaxing. Throughout the day on Saturday the fog kept rolling in and out. It was interesting to watch.
We ended the week with the dolphins swimming along the shore into the sunset. It was another great week.
