The last week of February already - February 26 - March 3

It's amazing how quiet it is now that the girls are gone.  We miss them but keep in contact via text messages.  Hailey is back to school and Jordan came down with the flu and wasn't feeling well for a couple of days.  Thankfully that is now passed and she is able to go about her routine and go back to work.  Laura is happy to have them both home.

Jim and Debbie arrive last Saturday and are staying with Lawrence and Teresa.  It's nice to see them.  Jim joined us for a game of golf on Monday.  Since Mark and Katrina are old here, we had two groups of 4 golfing.  Jim joined the ladies and it was fun having him as part of the group.  On Monday we golfed at Myrtlewood on the Palmetto course.  The wildlife was amazing.  We saw two eagles in the sky and later one of them was down on the ground eating something and not interested in us at all.  So exciting to see.  No cameras this time as I thought it would be better for me to focus on my game lol.  It always happens when I don't bring it along.

Tuesday Ralph and I went to see the Eagles.  We got some great shots again and had a nice chat with Rick.  He showed us some of his pictures from his trip to the Alligator Wildlife Refugee.  There is a large variety of birds there right now.

We went out golfing again on Wednesday at Myrtlebeach National - the South course.  We enjoyed another fun game with the group of us.  In the evening we said goodbye to Harry and Marian and they prepared to start their journey home with a side trip for the weekend to see Liz.  

We went back to see the Eagles on Thursday.  Bumped into Lawrence and Teresa, Jim and Deb as well while we were there.  This time I heard a Barred Owl which was exciting but we couldn't find it in the woods.  The babies are a treat to watch and we also enjoyed seeing the Osprey.  Rick told us where there is a rookery which will soon be filled with little Herons, Egrets and Ibises.  I hope we get to enjoy it while we are still here.  It's mating time and the Ospreys are very active.

It rained on Friday so we stuck around the Condo and there was a Marathon race on Saturday. Saturday was incredibly foggy for most of the day. I walked to the Pier and took some photos.  The temperature itself was really beautiful. It was a good time to do some beach walking.  I found a beautiful sharks tooth while out on my walk.   

We finished off our week by going to see the Eagles and Osprey in-between church services.  They never disappoint.  

It was another wonderful week.
