Clam bake 2013

Some of you may know that we are planning a golfing trip to PEI this summer.  To keep plans going, we decided to host a clam bake with the other couples going.  What a nice way to break up the winter and start thinking about our golfing season.

Porcelain star fish to decorate the table along with the blue napkins and some seeds for the garden.

A real starfish to compliment the hurricane lamp.

Some coastal looking candle holders.

Some netting along the table to replicate a fish net.

The happy golfers.

Two weeks before the clam bake, Ralph and I started exploring Bowrings "clearance tables" in the hopes of finding reasonably priced items that might help make the house more festive for this event.  What fun we had driving through a blizzard going from one Bowring to another.  We were pretty successful in finding some interesting things.

We enjoyed a fun evening all together.
