The day started out much cooler than we expected but at least it was dry. The course unfortunately was very wet!! So wet that by the end of my game, my feet were soaking.
We had fun though. It's a great course with lots of very challenging holes. We all had a difficult time with the Par 3's and only Ralph was able to get a ball to "stick" and stay on. Lawrence came pretty close today as well. As a result, we only saw 1 point for 4 Par 3's.
After golfing we went to Murrell's Inlet. There is a really neat store called the Farmers Market which specializes in all different kind of cheeses. We stocked up as we thought it might make a nice treat for tomorrow night as we celebrate the end of 5 days of golf.
Tonight we're off to the Caroline Opry. We're looking forward to that. It should be really interesting...
Closes to the Pin scores are as follows:
Ralph - 6
Grace - 4
Teresa - 0
Lawrence - 0
Tomorrow we're off to The Pearl - West Course. This is in North Carolina. We're hoping that it's not quite as wet and that the temperature is a little warmer. It's about 64 degree's now which isn't too bad.
