Too close for comfort!

Shopping! Are we ready...

Three girls in the hot tub.
An amazing dinner by the boys.

The boys making lunch! Yummy!
It was such an awesome day!  The weather was warm and the hospitality was flowing. Harmony Golf course is a really nice course to play. The people are so friendly and the golf is great!!  We really enjoyed our round at this course.  It was a fun day.  The  boys played a 2nd round and we went shopping for the afternoon.  When we got home we were spoiled with a nice dinner made by the boys.  Tilapia, fresh veggies, baked potatoes - how awesome was that. Desert followed - a smooth and creamy icerecrea made with pistascio, coconut and cream. It was delicious.  The boys have been making lunch as well.  The food has been amazing.

A day playing on the Cats

Today we played at Orange County National and enjoyed two rounds.  The first was on Panther Lake and the 2nd was on The Crooked Cat.  These are challenging courses and suffice to say that we got our money's worth!  The competitions are in full swing.  I lost my ball which is being used in the Simonse competition so I am now disqualified.  Oh well - it takes the pressure off!  It was a beautiful and sunny day.  It started off pretty cool this morning but warmed up quickly.  Tonight Grace is making Nasi for dinner. It smells delicious.

A day in the sunshine

What a vacation we have been having so far.  With the exception of the issues that we are having with the pool, things have been going well.  After a nice dinner last night (made by Teresa) we relaxed by playing dice while the boys watched the football game.  Ralph was busy running reports.  We were up early and enjoyed a nice relaxing breakfast before heading out to Royal St. Cloud.  It was cool this morning 7c but warmed up quick enough.  We had a fun round of golf all together.  It got progressively warmer as the day went along.  This afternoon we were required to spend some time at the mall (which was almost empty) and drink coffee at Starbucks while Ralph finished his work.  We enjoyed a nice dinner together this evening and are now enjoying a relaxing time all together.

Out in the swamp

Water Moccasin snake
Mother and child (Wood Stork)
The day dawned brightly as we woke up at 6:30 this morning.  Ralph and I baked a nice Frittatta for breakfast and together we all enjoyed eating this warm meal.  We listened to a sermon from Rev. Mcleod this morning on the verse - It is finished.  We all quite enjoyed it.  Afterwards we packed a nice lunch and headed towards Lake Tohopekaliga which is in Kissimmee under the guise of going for a nature walk.  When we got there, we surprised Teresa and Lawrence by telling them that we had booked a Swamp Tour with Spirit of the Swamp.  Our guide was captain Blake and our tour would last about 90 minutes.  He took us out in the everglades where we saw snakes (water moccasin), alligators (large and small) and lots of birds and ducks.    While out in the swamp we came across a pair of Wood Storks that had built a nest and it had a baby in it.  It was so nice to see this. We were amazed at the size of the baby.  Our guide Blake had not seen these birds here and told us that this is an endangered species.  He was quite excited and asked us to share our pictures with him.  It was cool out on the water and I'm glad we all had sweaters or jackets with us.  When we started to return to the dock, the airboat started to experience some engine difficulties.  It didn't detract from the enjoyment of our ride and I'm glad that we were able to enjoy the afternoon on the water.
