A day in Old Town
Today is the last day of our vacation. We decided to spend the morning in Old Town, Scottsdale. There is alot of beautiful Art in this area. After breakfast at "The Breakfast Club" we enjoyed a nice relaxing walk through the area.
Relaxing
Sunday, a day of rest. Exactly what we needed after such a busy week. I enjoyed some time in the afternoon at the pool and we had a leisurely dinner at the hotel.
Night time photography
While in Zion - Ralph and I took a photography course on how to photograph the night sky. I can see that this can become very addictive. There is nothing more beautiful than the night sky. When you are outside gazing at the sky, you feel so close to God and marvel at his majesty. I think I found this to be the most amazing part of our vacation. We took a lot of pictures and it will take some time to develop them all. Here are a few that we have worked on.
Our day in Zion
My friend Claudia and Teresa reminded me that during the last part of our vacation, I didn't post as much about the things that we saw and did. I must admit that it was hard to compare to the Canyons and night time photography that we did, but at the same time we did enjoy a lot of other things.

TPC Stadium Roar
Today we golfed at the TPC Stadium Course. Our tee time was 6:40 and we were paired up with 2 young men that lived in the area. It was hot and muggy today. Our golf was fun and had some interesting moments. We enjoyed the game but found that the scenery was not as nice as Quintero. The 16th hole was missing the grandstand's so it was hard to visualize and hear the roar of applause when we made it on the green.
Today was so muggy that by the time the round was finished I was soaking wet which made getting changed a challenge. Have you ever tried to pull a "sports bra" over your head when it's soaking wet. Believe me when I say it's a challenge.
Afterwards we went to Gray Hawk (Phil's Grill) and enjoyed lunch while watching the golfers. We did a bit of shopping amd and then came back to the Wigwam Resort for a much needed nap. We ate dinner at Litchfield's which is right at the resort. We had an amazing day.
