We're off
We've been driving for about 5.5 hours and are now in Quebec. So far the traffic has been really good. It looks like rain and the clouds are really low but it isn't raining. It's looking like a good start to our vacation. Teresa has been enjoying her book and I have been working on my book from our canoe trip. The pictures are all in so now I need to finish my journalling. I've also started my PEI book and have the first page done. I hope to stay on top of that while we are away. I will post pictures when we get to the hotel. We expect to arrive in PEI tomorrow around dinner time.

Robin update
Ralph sent me this updated picture of the baby robins today. It's amazing how fast they are growing. I'm not able to watch then as I am in Montreal all week. They will soon be flying out of the nest.

Baby Robins
For the past couple of weeks - my wreath on the front door has been the new home of a family of robins. Today I noticed a broken blue egg on the stairs so I took my camera out and tried to get a picture of the new family. They are just newly born and Mama was not to happy that I was there. I snuck in for a quick picture, but at the risk of being swooped up, I only attempted to take a few shots.

Time with the family
We were up early and on the road by 6:30. Today we were spending the day with Laura, Jay and the family. We arranged to meet at their church and the service was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. We enjoyed a good sermon on parts of the Lord's prayer. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice lunch all todgether and then took a nice walk around the block. We really enjoyed our day together.

Copper Creek
It was an amazing day. The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky. We golfed with the 6 of us at Copper Creek. It was really beautiful and surprisingly the course wasn't busy. We all played well and had lots of fun. Spring is finally here!
