It's been a couple of very warm days and we knew that storms were brewing. When we arrived this evening at Coppercreek for our golf lesson, the sky was looking pretty dark and we weren't too sure if we'd get out. Unfortunately for us it got progressively worse and we ended up only enjoying a nice dinner. It was nice to meet Tony there who was hoping to get a round of golf in as well.
Ralph and Grace have been happily married for 45 years and currently reside in Dutton, Ontario. We have a beautiful daughter Laura who is married to Jason Van Meppelenscheppink. Jason and Laura have three beautiful children (Jordan, Hailey and Brody) and they currently live in St. Thomas. This blog is about our lives and how richly we have been blessed.

| Barb and Bill - who had a trailer beside Anne's. |
On Saturday we had the pleasure in sharing Anne and Richard special day as they were joined in marriage. While it rained in the morning, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day in the afternoon! We were so happy for them. The wedding was really nice and we enjoyed a wonderful evening all together. It was nice to see some old friends from the park as well..

A weekend at Cobble Beach
The forecast was amazing - 24 degree's for Friday and 20 degree's for Saturday. Sunday was going to be another beautiful day and we were not disappointed. On Friday we were up early (4:00 a.m.) and met with Grace and John just after 6:00. We headed to Owen Sound and were able to have a nice early tee-time. The wind was quite strong which made the golfing a challenge, but the day was absolutely beautiful. In the evening, Teresa and Lawrence joined us. We had a nice dinner at Nathaniels. Saturday we enjoyed a quiet morning with a bit of shopping before heading to the course. Saturday was another nice day however the breeze was cooler today off the lake. We all really enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed dinner all together at the course. Sunday was a relaxing day. We enjoyed a sermon in the morning and then drove to Lora Bay to check out the golf course and then slowly made our way to Collingwood before heading for home. What a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Digging in the dirt
It's long overdue, but the gardens are crying out for some tender loving care. I got up early - 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. It was really nice outside. With shovel and hoe in hand I started the work to clean up the gardens. It's going to take a couple of days of steady attention. There are thousands of whirly birds. After about 1.5 hours - I had cleared 10 feet. It looks really nice but boy was that a lot of work. This morning I could hardly walk. My muscles had cramped up in my calves. I think my body is telling me it's time to do more workouts in the garden. Obviously it's very good exercise.
Bathtime
What a beautiful afternoon. After our visit with Ralph's dad we sat on the back deck and enjoyed the sunshine and nice weather. We enjoyed the birds flying through the backyard and taking a bath the waterfall.
