Congradulations to our beautiful grandaughter - Jordan who graduated today from Kindergarten. We drove the 2 hours to St. Thomas and enjoyed some beautiful songs from her class. She received her diploma and we then went to her restaurant of choice "McDonalds" for dinner. I'm go glad that we went. She was "SO" excited to see us. It was well worth the drive.
Ralph and Grace have been happily married for 45 years and currently reside in Dutton, Ontario. We have a beautiful daughter Laura who is married to Jason Van Meppelenscheppink. Jason and Laura have three beautiful children (Jordan, Hailey and Brody) and they currently live in St. Thomas. This blog is about our lives and how richly we have been blessed.

My tip to Ottawa
On Monday I had to fly to Ottawa for a business trip. I arrived around dinner time and it was so beautiful out that I decided to take a walk around the Parliament buildings. It was such a beautiful evening. I enjoyed my walk and took lots of pictures.

God Bless Alex and Jennifer
Today we went to Alex and Jennifer's weddding - Alex is Christine's son. It was a beautiful day for the wedding - the rain was finished and the sun was shining. They were married in Sandford - which was about an hour away from our home. The wedding and reception were in the same room. It was nice to see Anne again with her boyfriend Richard. He is very nice. We enjoyed a nice evening together. We sat together with the 6 of us, Ron and Anne, Anne and Richard, Ralph and I.
Timothy Golf
The day starteed off with a nice warm breeze. Thank you Lord, we were all so happy for the beautiful weather. We met at Teresa's house and started loading the car. It was going to be a busy day! With everything loaded, we headed to the golf course (Glen Eagle) and started setting up. The course was very helpful and things went along smoothly until I realized that I had forgotten to bring the 3 golf certificates from Nick. They were still on my work computer. What was I going to do? In the end I ended up using one of the prizes (a pen) that had a jump drive in it. I was able to copy the 3 certificates and the course printed them for me. Phew.... one problem resolved. Then Teresa asked if I knew where the Callaway watch was? No idea - I hadn't seen it. As it turns out it was left at her house. She was able to reach Lawrence and he brought it along with him.
The day went off without a hitch. Everyone had fun. It took a little longer than planned, but all worked out in the end. We had a wonderful time. Now Ralph and I are gonig to hook up the WII that he won and see if we can play some games. Should be fun!

Canada's Wonderland
On Wednesday, my company had a "team building" event at Canada's Wonderland. It has been years since I have been there. I had a great time! We did a scavenger hunt in the morning and then had free time in the afternoon. It was a fun way to get to know some of my peers a bit better.
