Timothy Golf Tournament

The sun was shining and the greens were fast!! We had a wonderful time at the Timothy Golf tournament. We shot an overall of 76 which I think was respectable. We enjoyed the sunshine and fun with all the participants of the tournament. I'm sure that a lot of money was raised for this worthy cause.

Also, we want to extend our prayers of support to Henry as he starts his three year term as an Elder at the Springdale Christian Reformed Church. Getting ready for the big game!!

We spent last night with Teresa and Lawrence working out the kinks on our golf game. We had a lot of fun together. On Monday we are playing in the Timothy Tee-Off which is a shotgun start, Best Ball Golf tournament which is held to raise money for Timothy Christian School. It's sure to be a lot of fun. We had an awesome evening and the temperature was perfect for golf. We even managed to get in 18 holes. It was fun and I'm feeling good about my game. The golf lessons are starting to pay off. Practice, practice, practice is what we need.

Happy Anniversary to Jason and Laura

Today, Jason and Laura celebrate their 4th anniversary. What a special day for them!! Congratulations.

Finishing touches

Yesterday Ron spent the afternoon working on putting up soffit and facia. In the evening Ron and Ralph started putting up the eves troughs. It is a slow process having to move the ladders whenever you want to move further along the wall of the house. It sure finishes up the house nice. The birds still are trying to get into the attic. I can hear them flying up against the house. Ron left the opening for the pot lights open so the babies can fly out of their nests when their ready.

The flashing and soffit goes up

On Saturday Ralph and Ron spent the day putting up flashing and trim. The birds aren't happy because they are loosing their access to their nests with babies in them. Ron cut out the holes for the lighting so the birds can still get up into the attic and hopefully they will fly out with their babies soon. It will take at least another day to finish the flashing etc and then we'll have to put up the evestrough's. It sure looks nice though.
